R & D – 15. june

We made adjustments to the newest iteration of the user guide. We went over to SKYLAB and experimented with laser cutting the newest user guide. After testing on cardboard we used a 3mm sheet of acrylics.

We then had a SCRUM meeting with the rest of the group and decided that we’re going to cut out letters and shapes in the MDF (The housing for BeerWell) and replace it with acrylic cutouts. If possible we want to add LEDs behind the acrylics to make the images and letters light up.

We have decided to make a solution for the prototype where the icons and logo was laser cut out of the front plate, to facilitate that these can be backlit by LEDs.

C & F – 15.june

We implemented the user guide symbols from the R & D team into the front frame of the prototype, but in a version that was optimized for laser cutting.
We also begun adjustments and drawing of the next prototype case/frame based on the lessons learned while testing the latest prototype.
